There is no disctinction between tests that complete due hitting the charge limits and tests that end prematurely due to other errors

For instance, if the power supply becomes unplugged during a charge cycle, or the VCC gets too low, or the cell overheats. The test manager will interpret this as "Oh, the Charge/Discharge stopped. I assume it completed successfully"

It should no longer assume that, but instead abort test with the proper error messages.
