Piano practice pages for arrangements I am learning.
Each page is a single self-contained HTML file. No network requests, no fonts to load, audio synthesized in the browser. Open one on a phone at the piano and it works with the wifi off.

The white-key edition, transposed to A minor so every note falls on a white key. 43 bars, 4/4, quarter note = 70. All 43 bars are drilled across 34 exercises, both hands on one grid, with the count written on every attack. The sections can be reordered and the whole piece played back at your own tempo.

MIDI files, format 1, separate tracks for each hand:
- Wukong/midi/wukong-white-keys.mid, chords as printed
- Wukong/midi/wukong-white-keys-rolls.mid, with rolled chords
- Wukong/midi/wukong-white-keys-acbd.mid, sections in A C B D E F order
The score the Wukong arrangement is built from. Written as a piano duet for four hands; this version reduces it to one player, upper part to the right hand and lower to the left. 65 bars, 4/4, quarter note = 100. All 65 bars are drilled across 31 exercises, both hands on one grid. Twenty-eight B flats in bars 42 to 56 are lowered to A so the whole piece sits on white keys.

Kept in the original key rather than transposed. 89 bars, 4/4, quarter note = 115, in A minor. Only 52 of its 1121 notes are black keys, almost all G sharp and C sharp. All 89 bars are drilled across 40 exercises, both hands on one grid.

Kept in the original key of G minor. 97 bars, 4/4, quarter note = 105. Advanced. The left hand does not play until bar 29, so the first 28 bars are one hand alone. Bars 47 to 60 are the difficulty of the piece. Needs a full 88-key piano: the bass reaches A sharp 0 in bar 94. All 97 bars are drilled across 38 exercises, both hands on one grid.

The only piece here needing no compromise: 2086 notes, every one a white key, in the original key exactly as scored. 156 bars, 3/4, quarter note = 100. One long crescendo from three notes a bar to twelve. All 156 bars are drilled across 55 exercises, both hands on one grid.

Not the Hitman theme and not built from a human arrangement. The source file was auto-transcribed from audio: every note in it is a sixteenth, it uses 6 of 12 pitch classes, and it never plays a G. That transcription caught the harmony and the accompaniment figure but no melody, so this page is a playable reduction of the backing rather than the tune. Useful as a left-hand and evenness study. 46 bars, 4/4, quarter note = 102, D minor. Bars 43 to 46 are written rather than transcribed, because the source sits on one chord and never resolves.

The same four chords the Hitman transcription recovered, but at four times the harmonic pace: one chord per bar instead of one every four to six, 132 beats per minute instead of 102, and 32 bars instead of 46. The left hand plays a 3-3-2 push which is what creates the forward motion. No melody, by choice. No hand ever spans more than a tenth.

Built on the fullest of the three versions in the folder: the complete solo piano arrangement in the original key of A flat major / F minor. 81 bars including a pickup, 4/4, quarter note = 86, four flats. Advanced, and dense throughout. The melody is marked in gold on the page, identified by aligning this score bar by bar against the vocal staff of the separate voice-and-accompaniment version. The simplified version transposed to G major was not used.

The way into Ye Qu. Built from the simplified arrangement: G major with one sharp instead of four flats, 2/4 at quarter note = 65, and no hand ever plays more than three notes at once. 136 short bars, which is about the same music as 68 ordinary ones. Same tune as the full version with far less to manage. No melody marks on this one, because it could not be aligned reliably against the vocal score.

Add one object to the SCORES array at the bottom of index.html. The fields are title, en, tag, facts, note and files. The header count updates itself.
Source scores are not included in this repository. Only the practice pages and the MIDI generated from them are tracked.
