retail_demo notebook hang on ubuntu 18.04 with docker 19.03.1 #14
Description
Using 'IBM Db2 Event Store' developer edition 1.1.4 on ubuntu 18.04 LTS with docker 19.03.1 on a bare metal box (RAM (768gb), CPU cores (24)).
Copied the retail example jupyter notebook, started the copy from my-notebooks.
But the first cell that does any work just hangs forever on the step 'Event table Creating...' and no ingest happens (although I clicked the begin ingest button). I waited more than 30 minutes.
There's no error in the main log file (es-desktop.log).
Is there some specific log file(s) I can check inside the running docker containers (there are 3 of them running it seems) to see what the jupyter notebook.
Please advise.

Hello, I am from IBM Db2 EventStore team, and I will try to reproduce and find a potential solution for your problem.
Btw, are you IBM employee? And what's your expected use case of the EventStore developer edition? Thanks

Is there any progress on this, as it has been opened since one month ? I'm not an IBM employee. I'm experimenting with Db2 event store.
