docs(nas): move smaug's pool to the chipset and take the MegaRAID out, at the swap (#571) - #652

…, at the swap (#571) The Exos pair has sat behind an AVAGO MegaRAID SAS 9340-8i in JBOD since the build, and its firmware's error path (60 s timeouts, aborts, an Online Controller Reset) is what ZVTBSDL3's fault ran through. Five of the chipset's six SATA ports are free. ADR-0051 moves the drives to the chipset during #558's swap. The only tray cable is the card's own mini-SAS HD breakout, whose host end fits only the card, so the move needs two plain SATA cables, bought with the drive. The surviving drive moves first, alone, on the one-legged pool; ZFS imports by label, so a new path is not an event, and if the drive isn't on ahci or the pool doesn't import, the card and breakout go back in and stay as the arrangement by decision. Not IT-mode firmware: a crossflash on the pool's only controller with no spare card. replace-the-nas-disk.md §5 is rewritten for the chipset, with the fallback; §6 adds the SMART baseline re-check the new enumeration needs (ADR-0047's /dev/sdc row) and closes #571 alongside #558. hardware.md notes the decision and that its paragraph still describes the card until the swap. README counts 51 ADRs. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
#650 merged ADR-0051 (Hicks workstations mounting the media share) while this branch carried its own ADR-0051. The filenames differ, so git merged without a conflict and would have left two ADR-0051s. This branch's ADR is now ADR-0052; its references in replace-the-nas-disk.md, hardware.md and its changelog entry follow, and README counts 52 ADRs. Every remaining ADR-0051 reference is #650's. The changelog conflict keeps both entries. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

#652 landed ADR-0052, so with this branch's ADR-0053 the repository has 53. The changelog conflict keeps both entries. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

What changed
Docs only; nothing on
smaugchanges yet. ADR-0052 decides that at #558's disk swap, smaug's Exos pair moves from the MegaRAID 9340-8i to the chipset's free SATA ports and the card comes out.replace-the-nas-disk.md§5 and §6 are rewritten so the swap carries it out.Why
Closes nothing yet. Refs #571, whose "done when" is met once the swap happens (§6 now closes #571 with #558). The pool has sat behind a MegaRAID in JBOD since the build, and its firmware's error path (60 s timeouts, aborts, an Online Controller Reset) is what
ZVTBSDL3's fault ran through. Five of the chipset's six SATA ports are free.ahcior the pool doesn't import after the move, the card and breakout go back in and stay as the arrangement by decision.Blast radius
smaugandereboronly, and only when the runbook is run at the swap. §5 moves the surviving drive first, alone, on the one-legged pool. ZFS imports by label, moving a cable writes nothing, and the revert is to put the card back. §6 adds the SMART baseline re-check, because ADR-0047's/dev/sdcrow can move once all three disks share one controller.secrets/*.sops.yamlVerification
