openmixer.org The README, BUILDING, the protocol and the probe guide are published at openmixer.org/projects/libdiginet. %license, copyright and the manual pages stay.
Each RPM and DEB carries the minimum: the licence, its man pages if any, and one short README that says what the project is, how to start and where the full documentation is (openmixer.org). The longer text the README held moves to the documentation in the tree; nothing else in markdown is packaged.
…nd-to-end tests libsurface's test_c24_tool.c and the console's surface-native emu-desk.c carried the same hundred lines each: the private network and the desk's socket on it, a program under test spawned with its output captured, a step that reads the program and pumps the desk, waits on its words, a count of what the desk was sent, the reap with a deadline, and the fader, meter and scribble predicates. They are the harness, not the scenario, so they live here now as diginet/testsupport/emu_child.h, installed with the other test support (#58). netns.h's functions are static inline, as emu_pump.h's are: a consumer that keeps the namespace's capabilities no longer fails -Werror on the unused ns_drop_caps. test_emu_child proves the harness on diginet-probe (the network comes up, the probe finds the desk and runs its steps, its fader set-point is counted from the desk's log, it exits 0) and on a shell (the stdin pipe, the kill past the deadline, the exit status passed through). test_install.sh expects the header installed.
testsupport: the child harness under libsurface's and the console's end-to-end tests

dedupe/all with main merged (#62), then the release commit. Patch: packaging and checks only.
Not to be merged by hand: fast-release after the wave's combined test, inside out.
