FastRead now runs as an authenticated Web application with workspace-scoped papers, immutable document evidence, persisted reports/conversations, and a separate durable worker. Closing the browser no longer interrupts imports or generation; interrupted model dispatches with unknown outcomes require attention instead of automatic replay.
This change includes copy-only legacy migration, orphan-result archiving, topic evidence preservation, version-aware citation navigation, server-side summaries, versioned lexical/vector retrieval, and deployment/backup/rollback instructions. The previously validated arXiv gateway, model compatibility, metadata, and citation fixes are incorporated into this branch.
Validation: backend full regression passed (210 passed, 1 skipped), followed by 14 final Web/migration tests; frontend lint, typecheck, 68 tests, and production build passed. Playwright-launched Edge exercised real search/import/report/chat, re-login persistence, history navigation, archive/restore, and topic evidence. Real worker termination/recovery, isolated migration/restore, and version-scoped vector queries passed on the server candidate.
Citation location checks do not independently validate every generated claim. A remaining report wording issue is documented in the acceptance record. Old browser-local chats require an explicit export; deployment must use isolated data, HTTPS, and Secure cookies.
