Summary

Let users mark themselves as attending a hackathon, with guardrails against spam.

Contexts

Spec flags "attendance spam" (marking every hackathon without attending) as a real edge case.

Tasks

  • UI to mark attendance (participant / organizer / mentor) for a hackathon
  • Rate limit or heuristic to catch spam attendance marking
  • Decide and document what triggers a flag or block

Acceptance Criteria

  • Users can mark attendance normally without friction
  • Abnormal mass-marking gets flagged
  • Tests added
  • docs updated
