What

what the PR changes

  • Extends the SSE support to allow for polls to be populated on the homepage immediately after they are created.
  • Changes the html structure in the template for the poll list to simplify it down slightly.
  • Adds local running instructions for podman / docker.

Tested in browser with all of the possible ways you could change the viewing and voting controls of the polls and compared against what was shown from the server side rendering.

Documentation

did you add or update any documentation. PRs should, at the minimum, update documentation when they make existing documentation out of date.

Added a section in the README clearly instructing people to use podman or docker to run the service locally.
