Summary

  • Point the Test and Release badges at this Python repository instead of google-maps-services-js.
  • Use the existing workflow filenames, test.yml and release.yml, in the badge URLs.
  • Link each badge to its corresponding GitHub Actions workflow page.

Only the two README badge lines change; no workflow files or library runtime code are modified.

The existing badges point to the JavaScript repository: https://github.com/googlemaps/google-maps-services-python/blob/d3b71ab1333cff0f900d2db6b39c1356341a5ea2/README.md#L4-L5

Verification

  • Python 3.10: python -m pytest — 105 passed.
  • Both live SVG badges loaded successfully in a local Markdown rendering inspected in Chromium.
  • Clicked each badge and confirmed navigation to this repository's Run tests and Release Actions pages.
  • Both workflows are active. The badges currently display failing, consistent with the existing upstream failed runs; this change does not alter workflow execution.
  • nox --download-python never -s docs --force-python 3.10 — passed; generated Sphinx documentation visually inspected.
  • The prescribed Python 3.7 docs build remains unverified because Python 3.7 is unavailable on this machine. The Python 3.10 build is supplemental.
  • Pytest ran directly with the repository's test dependencies, avoiding the Nox follow-on Codecov upload.
