Account suspended after using unofficial fixed build - how to appeal? #1441

Open

Description

@dvelm

Hi.

An account was used many times with a community fixed build for #1306 (a fork shipping the PR #1259 approach; the binary reports a -dev client version). Normal usage, no heavy automation - and it now gets "This account is suspended. If this is a mistake, contact support@codebuff.com." support@ was contacted; no response so far.

Questions:

  1. Are unofficial / -dev-version client builds against the rules, or auto-flagged?
  2. If support@ doesn't answer, what is the correct appeal path?

Not looking to evade anything - looking for the legitimate path back.

    Marking this stale - there has been no activity here for 29 days. It will close in 7 days unless someone comments.

    This is backlog upkeep, not a verdict on the issue. A single comment keeps it open, and anything closed this way can be reopened.
