Include links to the specific video(s) for lesson 4 and 5 #1224

Description

@RaihanSharif

Include links to specific videos

I was able to do do the proposals videos but I don't know which video talks about "Present Information About your Job". Video numbers in playlist do not match lesson 4 and 5.

    Thanks for filing this!

    I'm actually not sure which videos/assignment you're talking about here - could you include a link to where in the curriculum you ran into this?

    Also FWIW people are unlikely to notice issues against these Module-* repos, we tend to solicit feedback in either https://github.com/CodeYourFuture/curriculum/issues or on Slack in #feedback-curriculum :)

    Ah... my bad. I thought it linked to the specific lesson.

    I'm referring to the "Communicate at work using Google Doc and Slides" module. The first mandatory task of Onboarding > Sprint 3.

    @RaihanSharif Sorry for not getting back to you on this sooner! You honestly have more context on this than me - what would you recommend people do? Just watch the whole playlist of videos? Are there useful exercises to do too?

    @illicitonion I've rewatched the videos and I think it would be good for trainees to watch all the videos, and do all the exercises in this series.

    Other than the project proposal task, there are other exercises, like creating a meeting agenda and notes, creating surveys and basics of google slides and using google meet. None of the videos are longer than 2/3 minutes, so it won't be overwhelming.

    From my short time volunteering and studying with the ITP cohort from Jan and May, a good proportion of trainees would benefit from this.

    Might even be good to have workshop in one of the in-person sessions. Trainees could practice using these tools collaboratively. E.g. doing a team meeting, and someone doing the minutes. Creating a survey, which other trainees can fill out, and then present the findings of the survey to the class at the end.

    Thanks! We're actually just removing this exercise (and hoping to add more data things to ITD) - cc @cifarquhar on the other suggestions :)
