Currently, when a user wants to create a model with a default variant that hides certain parts and another variant that reveals those parts, they need to create their own transparent texture. This is because the internal transparent texture provided by AJ cannot be applied directly to the model.
Proposed Solutions:
Remove the internal transparent texture and let users handle transparency on their own
Allow users to apply the internal transparent texture to specific parts of the default model
I would recommend removing the built-in transparent texture and allowing users to manage it themselves. Creating a blank texture in Blockbench is pretty straightforward and this approach would also simplify the JSON export and resource pack creation as no additional logic is required, and the transparent texture can be treated like any other texture
