Hi! I created nibrun to make open-source projects like Calnode that ship as a single binary super easy to deploy: upload the binary and get an HTTPS URL, an isolated microVM and persistent storage.
I’d love to add Calnode to the one-click app presets, alongside PocketBase, Gitea, Memos and others. That would also make it possible to add a “Deploy on nibrun” button to your README or website, giving people a quick way to try their own instance.
Users can export the entire app state at any point (the binary, persistent data and environment variables) and take it to their own server if they decide to self-host.
Would you consider attaching standalone binaries to your GitHub releases? A Linux amd64 binary or
.tar.gz, ideally with a SHA-256 checksum, would be enough to deploy directly from your releases.Having an upstream download would let me offer the preset without maintaining a separate build or mirror, and would also make Calnode easier to run directly outside Docker.
